 i was a boy listen on youtube or here I exiled myself from the outside into the void  Not to run away but to find myself  I thought & believed what I observed to be the difference there had been signs of crumblings & decay = I need to rebuild myself  To know me before I introduce myself to others In this strange atmosphere I realized that  I've discovered an ancient pulse  it’s found in every reciprocation  with born whispers from breathing souls  = reaching into every mind through grievances laid on walls    tagging through skin for best results via gentle touch and through these we find the divine that lifts us up And being alone I had only one place to search ,  further inward, down in the sub basement of my core  i needed a reflection of me to see me in the third person Am I searching for the divinity of god or the divinity from within?  it started when I was a boy and she was nothing in the void I was a boy a...

I was designed and created in an earlier time
the mighty word from above was (be), and I've become
When humans were primitive & simple, beta version 1.0

but somehow, somehow we share the same God,
but unlike you, my adore
god created you on another level, an elite class
there wasn’t any time restraint or lack of resources
it was all about perfection,
not for my generation
not for us, the primitive.

but I ask, did god really complete his masterpiece,
hand crafting you, creating you as intended,
or merely abandoned the plan midway
cautious from what you could become?

You captivate the masses ...
to be praised, showered with words
and I'm spoiled about the little things I find in you ....
to ask the stupid questions...
how do I praise the lord with you in the middle?

Are you a blessing or curse for being in my life & out of my league?
Inspiring to express being with & without you  
to share a piece of me
distracting me from the lord to test my resolution?

But I have a suspicion of this
being an infection or a phase; what do I know?

I walk around this town hating segregation
no companion, just a spirit, friend, and foe, just you

just you a song on the radio
floating through the airwaves, enriching it with hope, memories, and pain,
for one more day, I see & feel alone
so I scribe on the poets' walls patiently,
and share a piece of me  
with whom will ever understand

meaningless lyrics to a joyful heart
understandable to a weary head
condolences for a twisted soul.

I accommodate what you are
but I'm not sure you even know that I exist
